Holler Nights

Not every story from these mountains is a case file.

Some of them never made the news. They made it into the stories people still tell — around fires, on porches, late at night. Passed down, changed a little each time, half-remembered and half-believed.

Holler Nights is a limited series from Bramble and Bone, stepping outside our usual true crime casework to explore the aliens, ghosts, cryptids, and old mountain folklore of Appalachia. These are campfire stories — some documented, some legend, all told in the spirit of the mountains they come from.

We cover four kinds of stories:

🛸 The Skies — the lights people have seen over these mountains for decades that nobody's ever been able to explain away

👻 The Restless — the ghosts that never quite left, still walking halls and bridges and back roads long after anyone remembers their names

🐾 The Woods — the things people swear they've seen moving between the trees

🌙 The Old Ways — the folk magic, the charms, and the mountain wisdom our grandparents swore by

I'm Silas Cade, and every episode, I'll bring you one more story from these hollers.

Keep your porch light on.
